We all already know Windows 10, Microsoft’s next operating system, is due out sometime this summer. However, it seems Lisa Su, AMD president and CEO, may have let the actual month slip out in a recent company earnings call, reports The Verge.
“With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up,” said Su.
Microsoft hasn’t announced a firm date or even a month for the operating system to release. If AMD’s boss is speaking the truth then Microsoft may have to come clean pretty soon. While it may be silly to wait on a release date for an OS like it’s a video game, keep in mind we’re all getting this one for free.
