The Razer BlackWidow Chroma Line Getting a Smaller Version

The BlackWidow Chroma is a great mechanical keyboard for PC gamers that brings function and form together. While Razer’s signature green lighting is cool and all, more options is never a bad thing. The only issue for some gamers is the BlackWidow is a beast of a keyboard. It’s a bit heavy and it’s just, well, big. It seems Razer would like to solve that problem for you with the new BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition.

The Tournament Edition, seen above, is much smaller version than its big brother. This is great for those with limit desk space or for gamers that like to bring their own gear to events. In order to reduce the size of the keyboard however a few things needed to be left out of this new sleeker version.

Obviously the number pad has been removed as well as the five extra macro keys on the left side of the original board. You’ll also be missing the USB passthrough and audio plugs as well however you’ll be given a new removable cord as well as improved Razer mechanical switches. They’ll even throw in a carrying case.

As for the Chroma features, they’re all still there. You’ll still get the 16.8 million customizable color options and programmable key zones.

The Razer BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition will run your $139.99.
