This really shouldn’t surprise anyone to hear but SEGA has announced they won’t have their own booth set up at this year’s E3. The lack of surprise isn’t really a jab at the company either, however they have a bit more to worry about.
Speaking with GameInformer SEGA stated they “will be focusing on the restructure and relocation to Southern California,” and in turn will “not attend E3 with [their] own booth this year.”
“With the majority of our bigger titles launching later in 2015/2016, particularly those from our AAA studios Relic Entertainment, Sports Interactive and Creative Assembly, we are concentrating our efforts for some of these major announcements after our relocation,” stated a representative of the company.
That doesn’t mean SEGA won’t be there at all however. You’ll be able to see SEGA games set up at other booths throughout the event.
