The Last Episode of Letterman is tonight, and the Guests are Mighty

It’s kind of strange that David Letterman is going off the air right? The man has been a late night staple for my entire life and now it’s all over. There have been a bunch of great guests the last few weeks to say their final goodbyes before the end and tonight’s final show is no different.

The final two episodes of Letterman start with tonight’s with Tom Hanks making his 60th appearance on the program. The 19th will be the final show with Bill Murray making his 44th appearance. Murray is the perfect final guest as he was also the first guest Letterman had on Late Night with David Letterman in 1982 and the Late Show in 1993.

While I said these were the final two shows they aren’t officially. The 20th will be the final bit “filled with surprises, memorable highlights, the show’s final Top Ten List and more.” The 18th and the 19th however will be the last “normal” shows aired.
