Many of you know, when you read through gaming news, the gaming community is a lofty bunch. For one reason or another, they tend to not respect artistic merit and go to complain about images that are not crisp and clean and in 4K resolution. The same can be said for the announcement trailer of Bethesda’s upcoming Fallout 4.
Some people have taken to the internet and social media, as one does, to complain about the “dull in-engine” visuals that were seen in the game announcement trailer. You can judge for yourself at the video above. However, some have speculated that maybe the game was first conceptualized for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
The answer is no. Plain and simple. “It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there,” Matt Grandstaff, the global community manager for Bethesda Softworks, said in this thread on NeoGAF Friday evening.
It is a bit of a dick move when you think about a publisher like Bethesda would conceptualize a game for a last generation console when so many companies have known about the new consoles for years. I think anyone that thinks this way should have their speaking privileges revoked for the time being. In the end, they were shooting for an announcement trailer and not in-game shots. In the meantime, just wait for E3, then you will wet yourselves.
