Ubisoft’s E3 Highlights

E3 is shaping up to be great, just great. There have been plenty of amazing announcements with enough variety to satisfy any kind of gamer. In this article however I’m going to try and sum up all of what Ubisoft decided to show us this year. We’re going to do this fast and dirty people so let’s get started.

As for games that we already knew about with new details to enjoy The Crew is getting a new expansion titled Wild Run. This expansion will be coming out in November and will make those that love off-roading happy. Trials Fusion is also getting a level expansion called Awesome Level Max due out in July. Just Dance 2016 will feature a new subscription streaming service on the Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A new cinematic trailer for Rainbow Six Siege was shown off as well as Terrohunt mode making a comeback. Terrohunt will feature single player as well as co-op and a live gameplay demo was shown with the beta due out in September.

Of course what would an Ubisoft event be without a bit of Assassin’s Creed? Assassin’s Creed Syndicate got a cinematic trailer showing off the game in all its Victorian-era glory.

As for new games we saw a lengthy cinematic trailer for a new medieval sword-fighting game titled For Honor. For those that like violence this is the game to watch. The Anno series is back with Anno 2205 and brings the city-building game outside of Earth and into the rest of the solar system. A trailer was released for Anno 2205 and it looks to keep Anno fans wanting more. Trackmania Turbo is a new racing game that will support VR headsets and is due out on the PS4 as well as the Xbox One.

The two biggest titles announced where the open-world shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands and the follow up to South Park: The Stick of Truth, South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
