It seems Relative Media has been going through hard times lately. With a bankruptcy filing and layoffs just this week they don’t seem to have the resources to do much these days, let alone The Crow remake.
While I don’t think many people were looking forward to it, The Crow remake has reportedly been put on hold until said otherwise. The film had already been in pre-production however for obvious reasons there’s no point to go further until they have the money to do so.
According to ScreenDaily. “crew having vacated the studio this week following months of preparation.” A source for the UK trade informs them “the company still ‘intends to move forward with producing and releasing The Crow.'”
The reboot hasn’t been doing well anyway with lead man Jack Huston dropping out of the project recently. We’ll have to wait and see if The Crow will be remade or not.
Honestly though, I don’t think anyone cares.
