DC’s seems to have adopted a strict ‘sink or swim’ mentality when it comes to putting out new comics. DC Entertainment told CBR that DC Comics will be cutting five series from their line up with many of the cancelled books being launched as early as last June.
Justice League United, Gotham by Midnight, The Omega Men, Lobo and Doomed will all be getting the axe. While some books such as Omega Men and Doomed originally being promised a twelve issue run it would seem they will be getting cut earlier than previously expected. Doomed will end on its sixth issue in November and Omega Men soon after along with the other titles in December.
I understand wanting to cut something that isn’t selling but is DC pulling a FOX (canceling things before they had a chance) with their books lately? Let us know in the comments what you think.
