If you own a gaming PC, PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One, then you probably downloaded and played the beta as Star Wars Battlefront. If you were like me, you downloaded both the PS4 and Xbox One beta just to see the difference. Apparently, I was not alone as so many people did that EA is reporting that the game has given them a major milestone in regards to beta.

“Yesterday, the Star Wars Battlefront beta surpassed a major milestone: more than nine million players logged in and played,” the official blog post states. “That makes this the single largest beta in the history of EA. We could not be happier that so many of you wanted to come in to get a small taste of what our passionate team has been working on.”

The reviews on the beta was various depending on who played it. People that weren’t into Star Wars found a way to bash it. Fans of the series found it fun and anxious for the release of the game that is due out in North America on November 17.

“Even more importantly than just showing up, you’ve been spending a lot of time playing, having a great time and leaving us some invaluable feedback, as we continue to tune and balance the game,” the post states.

The beta was very limited as to what you could play. I would have liked some more campaign levels open to play but obviously it was more about the multiplayer campaign than anything else. I do not personally like the multiplayer mode of any game but I could play it some. Aside from that, the look and feel of the game was amazing. Definitely looking forward to it next month.
