After the terror attacks in Paris on Friday, as you would expect, some television stations are changing their programming in the act of “sympathy” for the people in another country, mostly due to the people in America that refuse to separate reality from fiction and fill the internet with how offended they are by someone airing something that has nothing to do with reality.
CBS announced on Sunday that the originally planned episode of Supergirl “How Does She Do It” will not be aired tonight as the episode features Supergirl thwarting a series of bombings throughout National City.
Instead, they will air an episode that was slated to air next week, which was their Thanksgiving-themed episodes “Livewire.” CBS is, also, changing the episode of NCIS: LA which had a plot regarding ISIS. There is no word when those episodes will air but we know it will happen.
The synopsis for “Livewire” is:
Kara’s Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl.
While it will be possible that the un-aired episode will drop sometime in the spring, it is possible that we may not see the episode until the release of the first season box set. Although, it is hard to believe that they will drop their total first season episode count due to this. However, weirder things have happened.
